BIG Idea
“A correct understanding of the Trinity is essential to right worship of God.”
God is one and is yet three – this an incomprehensible truth! The Bible teaches that the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God. These three persons are distinct from one another, yet eternally exist as one God. This reality is foundational to our faith and calls us to see the Trinity with awe and wonder. Let us ponder the greatness of our God!

Weekly Bible Passage and Monthly Memory Verse
Weekly Bible Passage: 2 Corinthians 13:5-14
Monthly Memory Verse: “For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s.” (Romans 14:7-8)
Prayer (ACTS Method)
These are ways to pray in light of the truth learned this week. Of course, pray for other things as a family!
· Adoration: Praise God for being incomprehensible: one and yet three.
· Confession: Confess sins, like laziness and unbelief, when we do not worship him as he deserves.
· Thanksgiving: Thank God that he has invited us into fellowship with him: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit!
· Supplication: Ask God for grace to help us believe these truths, even if we do not fully understand them.
