Discipleship Pipeline

What is Discipleship?

Discipleship is simply a process by which followers of Jesus become more like Him. At its core discipleship is following Jesus. At Creekside Fellowship, we understand that God has called all Christians to make disciples of all kinds of people (Matt.28:19-20).

How do we disciple?

At Creekside, we have developed a Discipleship Pipeline to keep disciples moving on a track towards personal growth, holiness, and service. Through the discipleship pipeline, we provide opportunities for education, community, fellowship, and accountability.

Small Groups

The goal of our Small Groups is to equip believers to be disciples who make disciples.

Small Groups are conducted by facilitating small group discussions on various topics and books of the Bible. While there’s a lot of learning taking place, it feels more like a conversation than a class.

Our Small Groups meet on Sundays at 9:00 am and are conducted on a semester-based schedule.

There are three semesters each year. Winter (Jan-March), Summer (May-July), and Fall (Sept.-Nov.).

Home Groups

Home groups are a great way to get involved with believers in a more relaxed, informal setting. These groups are focused on fellowship and connection.

Home groups meet one night of the week at a group leader’s house for the purpose of reflecting on Scripture’s teaching, prayer, breaking bread together, and fellowship (Acts 2:42).

These groups meet on a weekly basis. They are open to anyone who would like to join and provide an introductory way to connect with fellow church members.

Home groups are available every semester are listed at the information booth in the Forum.

Creekside Academy

Creekside Academy is another step in the Creekside Discipleship pipeline. Creekside Academy is a classroom environment that takes a step deeper into the subjects of theology, interpretation of Scripture, and personal spiritual disciplines.

Creekside Academy involves an hour-and-a-half class on a weekday evening. These classes are intended to foster discussion and community in a collaborative learning environment.

Creekside Academy runs on a similar schedule to our other groups, having a Fall and Winter term

Creekside Academy is an essential component of our discipleship strategy at Creekside as we to raise up leaders from within the membership of Creekside to help the church grow and flourish.
