Worship Leader Position

Creekside Fellowship is looking for someone to lead our church in musical worship each week. The worship leader will work with our elders and Lead Pastor to plan and execute services that are steeped in the truths of the gospel and highlight the exposition of Scripture. This is a part time position that has the potential to develop into a full time role. Our church is elder led, deacon served, and congregationally affirmed. We are in friendly cooperation with the Southern Baptist Convention. We are located off of Hartsville Pike about 5 minutes from downtown Gallatin.

Location: Castalian Springs, TN

Estimated Salary: $25K

Description

  • Plan weekly services with input from the pastor and church staff.

  • Prepare all lyrical elements (pro-presenter, bulletins).

  • Coordinate with musicians to play on Sunday mornings.

  • Select songs that have theological depth and are singable.

  • Disciple members of the worship team to be lead worshipers, not merely performers.

  • Orchestrate music to highlight congregational singing.

  • Exhibit character competencies of I Tim 3.

  • Cheerfully contribute as a Church member to the welfare of the congregation.

  • Contribute positively to the culture of the church staff.

  • This job has an expected workload of approximately 15 hours a week.

  • This includes song selection, instrumentation, rehearsal, Sunday morning duties, and weekly staff meetings.

  • A desire to grow and be challenged theologically and spiritually as a disciple who makes disciples.
