BIG Idea
“Faith in Jesus Christ is the belief that Jesus is the Messiah, the one promised by God and revealed in his Word. Faith results in a desire to trust, obey, and worship Jesus wholeheartedly.”
Weekly Bible Passage and Monthly Memory Verse
Passage: Galatians 2:15-21
Monthly Memory Verse: “31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? 33 Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.” (Romans 8:31-34)
Prayer (ACTS Method)
These are ways to pray in light of the truth learned this week. Of course, pray for other things as a family!
· Adoration: Praise God for granting us faith in Christ.
· Confession: Confess doubt and fear.
· Thanksgiving: Thank God that He does not change.
· Supplication: Ask God to bless our homes with the knowledge of Christ.
