BIG Idea

“Only through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ can we be saved from the punishment we rightly deserve from God.”

Weekly Bible Passage and Monthly Memory Verse

Passage: Ephesians 2:1-10

Monthly Memory Verse: “31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? 33 Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.” (Romans 8:31-34)

Prayer (ACTS Method)

These are ways to pray in light of the truth learned this week. Of course, pray for other things as a family!

·      Adoration: Praise God for the cross of Christ.

·      Confession: Confess our inability to save ourselves.

·      Thanksgiving: Thank God that He has provided all that we need in His Son.

·      Supplication: Ask God to prepare our hearts for this upcoming Lord’s Day.
