BIG Idea
“A Redeemer who was fully God and fully human was needed to reconcile man to God.”
Weekly Bible Passage and Monthly Memory Verse
Passage: Isaiah 9:1-7
Monthly Memory Verse: “5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time. 7 For this I was appointed a preacher and an apostle (I am telling the truth, I am not lying), a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.” (1 Timothy 2:5-7)
Prayer (ACTS Method)
These are ways to pray in light of the truth learned this week. Of course, pray for other things as a family!
· Adoration: Praise God for the person of Jesus!
· Confession: Confess when we do not trust the God-Man, Jesus Christ.
· Thanksgiving: Thank God that He has provided the perfect Redeemer for us.
· Supplication: Ask God for grace that we would trust Him more and more.
