BIG Idea

“God has made provision to bring people into a right relationship with him.”

In this week’s BIG Idea, we find the glory of the Gospel! God has, graciously and lovingly, provided a gift in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. He has come to redeem fallen humanity by living the life we could never live and die the death we all deserved. He rose, triumphantly, from the grave to show that His work of redemption was satisfying in His sight. Because of this Redeemer, Jesus, all who believe on Him and place their trust in His person and work will be saved and be reconciled back to God again. Would you not believe in Him?

Weekly Bible Passage and Monthly Memory Verse

Passage: Isaiah 53:10-11

Monthly Memory Verse: “11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, 12 training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, 13 waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.” (Titus 2:11-14)

Prayer (ACTS Method)

These are ways to pray in light of the truth learned this week. Of course, pray for other things as a family!

·      Adoration: Adore God for His gift of the Redeemer.

·      Confession: Confess sins that doubt the sufficiency of Jesus’ work as the Redeemer.

·      Thanksgiving: Thank God that Redeemer’s work is available to all who believe.

·      Supplication: Ask God for grace that unbelieving family and friends would come to trust in the Redeemer.
