DREW BYERS - Lead Pastor
Drew was called to serve as Lead Pastor at Creekside Fellowship in January 2020 and began his ministry here on Easter Sunday, 2020. Drew is a native of McMinn County, Tennessee, where he and his wife Jessica lived most of their life before coming to serve at Creekside. Drew has served at various churches in East Tennessee since 2010. Prior to coming to Creekside, Drew served as an Associate Pastor at First Baptist Church, Athens, TN. Drew received a Bachelor’s Degree in Church Music from Bryan College. He is a two-time graduate of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. He holds an M.Div. in Biblical and Theological Studies (2017) and a Th.M. (2020) from SBTS. He is also in the process of completing a Doctorate of Ministry degree at Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS) in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Drew is married to Jessica. Jessica is a school teacher and teaches at a local school here in Sumner County. Drew and Jessica enjoy hiking and being outside, reading, drinking coffee, watching the Tennessee Volunteers, and their five dogs. (Yes, five!)
